Rosehill Cemetery

Rosehill is Chicago's biggest cemetery maybe even the oldest depending on how you determine age. Over 190,000 people are buried there. Here are maps to help you find many of its famous graves.

The first time I was at Rosehill was over 50 years ago. My grandfather owned a flower shop where the bike shop is now on Grandville and Western and a greenhouse one block away from the east gate. He would take me to Rosehill in my buggy. He would usually bring me back. He took this picture and that's me.

All pictures taken by me. I am not affiliated in any way with Rosehill Cemetery. Pickup trash if you see any, keep it beautiful. Enjoy.
